What is a Brewery Market?
The goal of The Brewery Market is to give you the chance to try out the best beers available in your region, in a comfortable and relaxed setting. At each Brewery Market you will be able to taste a number of different beers available from Ontario craft breweries.
Our mission is to introduce to you the best beers in our region — and the fine folks who brew them. At Brewery Market, you’ll find yourself in a comfortable and relaxed outdoor setting, tasting a smorgasbord of local beverages and enjoying the warm fuzzy feeling you get when your dollars support a great local charity.
What does it cost?
Admission is free, and always will be!
Where does the money go?
We are one of few beer festivals that does not charge brewers to attend. That means that your dollars go further to support your local brewer. But that’s not all! Proceeds of sales go to support our Ottawa Riverkeeper–Sentinelle Outaouais, a grassroots charity devoted to protecting the health of our river and its tributaries.
Hey! Why no samples?
Forget the typical beer events you’ve been to in the past! We’re more like a traditional beer garden. Above all, we offer an experience that encourages social engagement in an accessible, family-friendly outdoor setting where you can enjoy a full glass of cold, delicious, locally-crafted beer. For us, this means spending less time sampling and more time catching up with old friends, making new ones, or meeting brewers. And because many of the brewers are local, you can always stop by their headquarters for a visit!
