The Brewery Market is happy to be helping the Griffin Gastropub in Bracebridge with a new event taking place this weekend. Entitled The Battle of Wits, this is a fun competition with Wit style beers from across the province on Sunday, July 1st. The event will be part of the Griffin’s patio series, with special events taking place on their patio throughout the summertime.
At the event there will be Wit beers from a number of different Ontario breweries, likely to include:
- Amsterdam
- Bellwoods
- Mill Street
- Indie Alehouse
- Muskoka
- Beer Academy
- Hop City
- Lake of Bays
- Sawdust City
Beers will be available by the glass starting at 12 noon. There will also be food catered by and supporting the Muskoka Hospice, along with live music. We’ll determine a winner (possibly Princess of Bride style – see video below) who will be crowned the champion of the Battle of Wits!
The Battle of Wits will be taking place at the Griffin Gastropub, which is located at 9 Chancery Lane in Bracebridge, Ontario. The fun gets going at 12 noon on Sunday, July 1st.
